MCPifex pricing limits are simple: your plan caps how many instances you can have, and nothing else. Free gives you 3 instances, Pro is $19 a month ($190 a year) for 10, and Team is $49 a month ($490 a year) for 30. Tool calls through the gateway are unlimited on every plan.

What does each plan include?

An instance is one configured copy of a catalog server, with its own credentials, tool choices and API key. Instances and tools explains how they fit together. Free and Pro instances belong to your personal account. Team instances belong to the team organisation. See teams and members for details.

What counts toward the limit?

Only instances count. Say you connect PostgreSQL for your production database and another for staging. That's two instances, whether your AI runs ten queries a day or ten thousand.

Enabling more tools inside an instance doesn't use another slot either. One PostgreSQL instance with all four read tools on costs the same single slot as one with only query enabled.

What happens when you downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. If you have more instances than the new plan allows, MCPifex disables your newest ones beyond the cap. The oldest stay live.

A disabled instance returns instance_disabled to your MCP client, so the failure is explicit. Its configuration, credentials, connected accounts and call history are all kept. Upgrade again, or delete an instance to free a slot, and it comes back.

What happens when you upgrade?

Disabled instances switch back on immediately, oldest first, up to the new cap. Say you fall from Team to Free and then move up to Pro. The 10 oldest instances come back and the rest stay disabled. You don't have to re-enable anything by hand.

Where can you see your usage?

The portal shows your instance count against your plan's cap, and lists any disabled instances. There's no call-volume meter because calls aren't limited. New accounts start on Free with no card, and the pricing page has current amounts and checkout. As of September 2026 the plans and prices above are current.
