Marketplace

MCP marketplace:
hosted servers ready to connect.

An MCP marketplace is a catalog of hosted MCP servers that connect an AI app such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your tools and data. The MCPifex marketplace runs each server for you, so you install nothing. You save your own credentials, choose which tools the AI may call, and paste one URL. Five servers are live today.

The basics

What is an MCP marketplace?

MCP is how an AI app talks to your tools and data. An MCP marketplace is a catalog of MCP servers you can switch on instead of building and running them yourself. On MCPifex, we run the real server for you. You save your own credentials, choose what the AI may do, and connect. Read the MCP server definition if the term is new.

How does the marketplace work?

  1. Pick a server. Choose one from the catalog and name your instance.
  2. Add your access and choose the tools. Save your credentials once, then allow or deny each tool.
  3. Paste one URL into your AI. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor all use https://mcp.mcpifex.com/mcp with your API key.

The free plan covers 3 instances and needs no card. Compare plans on pricing or follow the quickstart. WhatsApp needs the Pro plan or higher.

How is this different from a registry?

A registry lists servers and points you to code you then install and host. A marketplace hosts the server and gives you one endpoint. Read what a MCP registry is, or see our rundown of the best MCP marketplaces.

What are the safety defaults?

  • Write and destructive tools start off. You turn on only the ones you want.
  • You allow or deny each tool. Tools outside the catalog are refused.
  • Credentials are encrypted in transit and masked in the portal.
  • Every call is logged per instance in the portal.
